Carston Chartered Accountants, the Cardiff-based accountancy firm, is pleased to announce its acquisition of David Jones & Co, a well-established specialist tax practice. The deal was finalised on Friday, 20 October, 2023.
This investment continues to strengthen Carston’s position as the largest independent practice in Cardiff while providing succession for long-standing clients of David Jones & Co and offering further opportunity for progression for the Carston team. Following the transaction, David Jones will remain as a consultant to ensure a smooth transition and continuity of services to their existing client base.
David Jones has been a member of the Chartered Institute of Tax since 1993 and is a past Chairman of the Wales branch of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners.
As a chartered tax adviser and registered trust and estate practitioner he uses his specialist knowledge and considerable experience to find the right solutions to suit each client’s needs whether they are an individual, executor, or trustee.
David is a Chartered tax Adviser and a full member of the Society of Trust and Estates Practitioners. He assists in advising generally on the tax aspects of administering estates and trusts. He can also advise on making any potential tax saving during the administration of the estate and or assist in Inheritance Tax planning.
