Recognised worldwide, the humble worker bee has celebrated Manchester as a hub of enterprise and creativity since the age of the Industrial Revolution. This year’s conference will be fittingly centred around the theme ‘A hive of activity’.
The Venue
The Edwardian Manchester, A Radisson Collection Hotel, offers five-star prestigious accommodation in Manchester’s city centre. Following a recent multi-million-pound redesign, the hotel has been transformed into a lifestyle destination that introduces a new standard of service, with spacious rooms and stunning suites featuring sweeping city views, entertaining areas and outdoor space. The hotel provides unparalleled access to Spinningfields business district and the shopping and nightlife of Deansgate.
The Grade II-listed Free Trade Hall, home to The Edwardian Manchester, first opened its doors in 1853 and is one of the city’s most historic buildings. Throughout its life, the hall has hosted a long list of famous names, including Charles Dickens performing in a play, Winston Churchill giving his Free Trade speech and even Bob Dylan during his 1966 World Tour.
